I served as Art Director and Illustrator for the sold-out merchandise collection for G Herbo’s Survivor’s Remorse, his fifth studio album. Released in two parts, the album features collaborations with Offset, Future, Benny the Butcher, and Kodak Black. I led the creative direction, bringing the album’s visual identity to life through illustrations and designs that balanced gritty realism, beauty, and playfulness—mirroring the tension of the album’s themes.
Survivor’s Remorse explores the guilt and emotional toll of achieving success while many friends and family members from Chicago’s dangerous streets did not survive. We aimed to create graphics that reflect this duality, bouncing between raw, gritty imagery and playful, bold visuals to capture the internal conflict of wealth and fame coexisting with trauma and loss. The collection resonated deeply with fans, contributing to its commercial success, and helped the album debut at #9 on the Billboard 200, with merch standing out for its strong, memorable, and emotionally charged visuals.
